Slurpee MixMaker Campaign
Casual Slurpee consumers buy whatever flavor is advertised. True Slurpee fans know that making your own mix is a critical part of the whole experience. Our team took notice of this fact and decided that the brand needed to own what had previously been an underground phenomenon. In 2011, Slurpee put its core group of customers on display with the Sluree MixMaker campaign. We gave MixMakers everywhere a home with a custom-build tab on the Slurpee Facebook page. Here, fans could vote for their favorite recipes, upload photos, share mixes, and even score a little MixMaker cred by earning a shoutout from Slurpee to millions of Facebook fans. Part of my role was to flesh out the Facebook tab with super fresh and flavorful copy.
