Intel Global Challenge
Social Media and Agile Content

Founded in 2005 as a collaborative effort between Intel and UC Berkeley, the Intel Global Challenge (IGC) is the world’s largest and most prestigious technology entrepreneurship competition. Intel needed a communication strategy in two phases: an initial messaging phase to promote the event ahead of time and an on-site agile content team to give followers of the event a play-by-play of the competition.

I worked with the creative team at Ready State to develop a social media campaign across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram that generated excitement leading up to the event by posting links to stories about previous winners as well as general messaging about the ethos of the Intel Global Challenge. During the event itself, I worked on-site for three full days with the agile content team that included a photographer and the Intel brand team to pull out key quotes from the presentations and memorable moments from the challenge to share on social media.
